Follow-up NYCC

Well, Ney York was amazing!! I've been to the city 3 times now, but this was the first time I was able to experience it for more than a few hours at a time. Great time! The Comic con was a blast and was packed on Saturday. Like 90,000 in one day.

Also, I got to finally meet Stephen Mooney, do the art swap, and have some drinks. It was great seeing all the eclectic micks again. Cheers Will and Dec! Thanks for all the great art gentlemen. It's all hangin in the studio now. Anybody who's not familiar with their killer art should check out the daily sketchblog at www.eclecticmicks.blogspot.com

Good people....

And this cover below is for Spike #5 from IDW. I had a LOT of fun painting this one. I couldn't keep a straight face when painting Elvis.

Headed to New York

Well, before I leave on Thursday for NYC, here's my newest Angel cover. It's the variant cover for issue #39. Again, like usual, it's all hand-painted with acrylics and colored pencils on gessoed illustration board. It's 30"x19"

I've really been enjoying these last Angel covers, and I'm looking forward to meeting a ton of new people at the New York Comic-Con next week!

Cheers mates!
